Texas A&M branded AggieSpirit bus on campus

Safety in every ride, pedal, and stride Travel Safe, Ags

As you make your way across campus — whether that is by walking, riding a bike, taking the bus, driving a car or by personal electric vehicle — we want to help ensure you get there safely. Use the resources below to help plan for safe travels in and across Aggieland.

Walking on Campus

The growth of various transportation methods has heightened the number of conflict points between pedestrians and vehicles on campus. Staying aware of your surroundings and knowing best practices for pedestrians are increasingly essential skills.

Riding a bike or other wheeled device

Bikes and other wheeled devices are handy modes of transportation for getting around quickly on campus.

Riding an AggieSpirit bus

Chances are you or your peer have hopped on an AggieSpirit bus. Taking into consideration that thousands of stops are made in a single day and more than 7 million transit rides are offered each year, knowing the safe way to board and exit buses is important.

Driving a vehicle

Vehicles travel around our campuses, not only to get from point A to point B, but to visit our parks, see landmarks and enjoy the Spirit of Aggieland, near and far. See how you can be a friendly driver to all modes of transportation.

Entering buildings

Personal electric vehicles, bikes, scooters, skateboards – these all help you travel from point A to point B quickly and efficiently. Questions on areas to store or park them, where they can be charged and FAQs related to them being inside buildings are answered here.

More resources for safe travels
